Challenges to Women Effective Use of the Internet in Nigeria

This session will look at the challenge women have in accessing and using the internet as well as the consequences of that on women’s effective use of the internet. We would in particular look at the instance of domestic violence in content of the lockdown and how internet would have been most using in reducing such if all women have access to it. As a response to these challenges, we would seek for ways to promote greater engagement of women in interne policy making so that the process and outcomes would be gendered.
